TOTO Toilets Help Consumers Navigate the New Normal
The COVID-19 pandemic in the world brought an unpredictability to people's lives. TOTO uses its technology to aid users in navigating the New Normal.
Kaisen or "perfection" is a societal concept that is the driving force behind the Japanese company Toto. Their most recent toilet, the WELLNESSTOILET, uses cutting edge technology to help customers achieve well-being.
Water Sense Technology
WaterSense-labeled plumbing fixtures are EPA-approved and can help save water and energy while providing a safe, reliable performance. TOTO USA is one of the first companies worldwide to receive a WaterSense Label for its EcoPower flush valves, as well as commercial flushometers.
Our Aquia IV dual-flush toilet is an excellent example of a bathroom fixture that is high-efficiency. It only uses 1.28 Gallons of water per flush, which is less than the 1.6 Gallons required to meet EPA standards for an extended toilet. The Aquia IV features TOTO TORNADO FLUSH technology, which reduces the frequency of cleaning the bowl and the need for additional flushes.
Installing a low-flowing showerhead can reduce the amount of water you need for washing or bathing. Our high-efficiency showerheads are WaterSense Rated and come with the latest technologies to ensure the highest quality performance.
Limiting the use of water is crucial in a world of frequent water shortages. TOTO's EcoPower technology, which is used in our Aquia IV toilet as well as our NEXUS one-piece toilet, helps reduce the amount of water we use by using just 1.28 Gallons per flush to eliminate waste.
TOTO's elongated WCs are also EPA certified for high efficiency. They come with a round or elongated bowl and an height that is ADA-compliant, ranging from 17-19 inches. We also have an elongated, compact toilet which is ideal for tight spaces and uses only 0.9 gallons per flush.
TOTO's bidets are among the most popular in the industry for both home and commercial use. These are not only more cost-effective than toilet paper, but they also provide a better clean, leaving you feeling confident and refreshed. The NEXUS toilet features our EWATER+ technology, which is created by electrolyzing tap water to create an ionic solution of sodium chloride ions and hypochlorous acid. This creates an effective disinfectant that kills bacteria, viruses and other pathogens, while leaving your skin and the environment in good health.
ADA Compliant
You can find the terms "ADA compliant" and "universal height", but not all toilets that have universal height are ADA compliant.
The ADA standards, established by the Americans with Disabilities Act, are designed to accommodate people of all abilities and ages. This includes those with limited mobility and lower body strength. Toto incorporates these standards into its products to ensure that their customers can enjoy the bathroom experience they want with ease of use.
TOTO's ADA-compliant toilets feature an all-in-one design that instantly beautifies bathrooms and offers a practical advantage over traditional two-piece designs. By eliminating the gap between the bowl and the tank, TOTO's one-piece designs make cleaning easier by preventing the accumulation of dirt and debris. TOTO's Eco UltraMax toilets also come with high-efficiency flushing system that is water-efficient. These toilets are water efficient and use less than 1.28 gallons of water per flush.
One-Piece or Two-Piece Design
Many who have traveled to Japan speak of the efficiency and comfort of the Toto toilets they used during their stay. Toto is a Japanese brand of toilets that has a one-piece design that integrates the bowl and tank. These toilets are easily cleaned and can be placed in tiny spaces. They are also very durable and can last for an extended period of time.
The group Toto began in the early 1970s, after members did session work for a variety of famous musicians. Keyboardist David Paich and drummers Steve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro as well as bassist Joseph Williams were all regular contributors to albums of Steely Dan [73], Seals and Crofts[74], Boz Scaggs[75], and Sonny and Cher.
Some of the members also perform solo. Vocalist Bobby Kimball released a album called From the Inside in 1978, guitarist Steve Lukather a second LP entitled Luke and keyboardists David Paich and Joe Porcaro recorded an album with jazz pianist Miles Davis.
In addition to their music, Toto has done a great deal of touring over the years. In February 2018 they released their 40 Trips Around The Sun anniversary album and then embarked on a world tour in order to promote it.
TOTO's Total Design principle includes taking into consideration the requirements of people of all age groups. They have a wide selection of Universal Height toilets and sinks that are easy for anyone to reach, even those with limited mobility. The WASHLET+ line of bidets has transformed the toilet experience from wiping to a flow of water. Many people are switching to this better option.
Noise Reduction
In the United States bathrooms are often located near bedrooms. Therefore toilets that are quiet are well-liked. And TOTO has found a way to do that with its Washlet, a bidet with an electric seat. TOTO's toilets are described as "magical" because they include a rimless basin which uses little water with an incredibly warm air spray that cleans and dries the skin.
The humble toilet is highly valued in Japan which is an extremely proud country with a love for its technological achievements. These qualities are reflected in the Toilet Museum of Japan which was inaugurated in 1999 and was designed to encourage people to think different about their bathroom habits. A toilet-powered motorcycle powered by poop and other tongue-in-cheek exhibits are meant to highlight the museum's message that TOTO products are not only efficient and environmentally friendly, but also sustainable.
The museum also showcases TOTO's innovation history, from the first flush to the aeration-based toilet that uses less water and reduces waste by 90 percent. The Washlet is also on display in this area. It uses a jet to clean and dry the user while also obscuring the sound of the toilet using chirping bird sounds.
Before forming Toto the members of the group such as bassist David Hungate and drummer Jeff Porcaro were session musicians on many albums of famous artists like Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, Boz Scaggs and Sonny and Cher. David Paich, the keyboardist, was a regular session musician for artists like the Eagles, Larry Carlton and Quincy Jones.
In the years following Toto's debut album, the band Totopia KR struggled to find success and endured a series of changes in members. Hungate eventually quit Toto to pursue a career as a solo artist in Nashville in 1980. He left the band due to a lack of time for his family, and a growing addiction problem. The band's success ultimately depended on the talents of Lukather and keyboardist Steve Porcaro.
Comfort
TOTO toilets were created with comfort at the forefront. They come with a variety of features that make your bathroom experience more enjoyable. They include heated seats, for example that keeps the user warm. They also have lids with automatic mechanisms that open and close to provide added convenience. They also have self-cleaning technologies that keep the toilets tidy and fresh.
It is essential to know what features to look for when buying a TOTO Toilet. There are numerous models to choose from, so it's important to find the one that has all the features you need. To do this, you have to know the model number and SKU of the toilet. This information is available on the packaging or in the online product description.
Before beginning the formation of Toto, members of the group performed session work for various well-known musicians. David Paich, Steve Lukather and David Hungate, along with drummer Jeff Porcaro, were regular contributors to albums by Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. They also contributed to Boz Scaggs and Sonny and Cher. In 1980, they formed Toto with singer/songwriter Joseph Williams.
The band began to tour extensively after the release of Toto IV. In 1985 the vocalist Fergie Frederiksen was dismissed because she was reported to have a difficult getting along with the rest of the band. Toto released Fahrenheit in 1986, a year that followed the recording of Fahrenheit.
The album was an departure from the previous music of the group and incorporated elements of gospel and jazz. The album wasn't an instant hit in North America but it did well in Japan. In 1987, Toto played the Montreux Jazz Festival and continued to tour. In the same time the bassist David Hungate quit the band to focus on his session work and music production career. Steve Lukather, a guitarist/vocalist was his replacement.
